Amish Broccoli Casserole recipe


INGREDIENTS

2 pkg. frozen broccoli or fresh broccoli (10 oz.)
2 eggs, beaten
1 onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup, or 2 cans cream of celery soup
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
1 pkg. herbed stuffing mix
1/2 c. butter, melted


METHOD

Cook broccoli until tender.
Combine eggs, onion, celery, soup, and mayonnaise.
Place layer of broccoli in a 3-quart casserole dish.
Add layer of cheese, then a layer of stuffing mix.
Pour a small amount of sauce over top.
Repeat layers until all of ingredients are used.
Top with a layer of stuffing mix.
Sprinkle melted butter on top of stuffing mix.
Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
Makes 8-10 servings.
