Awesome fried potatoes recipe


INGREDIENTS

3 potatoes
1 Tb. Vegatable oil
garlic powder, oregano and basil OR
cumin, chili powder and paprika


METHOD

Using roughly one washed potato per person, use a small knife to make shallow vent slice on the face of each potatoes.
Microwave the potatoes, 3 at a time.
Typically it takes 8 minutes, but your cooking time might vary.
Allow to cool, cut into quarters, making 4 wedges (these could be fried to make joe-joes).
Then slice the 4 quarters into roughly 3/4 an inch.
Fry in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
After browning, you can add a variety of spices,
I typically start by tossing in a small pinch of salt and pepper, then I add some spices, depending on my mood.
