Banana Bread with Less Fat recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
1 1/2 c. flour, all purpose
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 ts. baking powder
1/2 ts. baking soda
1/2 ts. cinnamon, fresh ground if you can
2 egg whites
1 c. bananas, mashed
1/2 c. applesauce |

METHOD |
Preheat oven to 350* and lightly spray a 8 x 4 loaf pan.
In a large bowl, stir together first 5 ingredients. Add egg whites, bananas and applesauce, stirring until just combined. Pour batter into pan.
Bake for 50-55 minutes or until toothpick comes clean.
Cool on wire rack before slicing. |
