Beef Barley Soup recipe


INGREDIENTS

1 lb. stewing beef, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 carrots, diced
3/4 c. barley
1 bay leaf
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1 ts. salt
pepper to taste
6 c. beef stock


METHOD

Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, stirring occasionally.
