INGREDIENTS |
To decrease cholesterol, substitute 1/4 cup refrigerated egg substitute or 2 egg whites for 1 egg.
For more fiber, replace half of the all purpose flour with whole wheat flour.
Use only half the amount of chocolate morsels and/or nuts in a recipe. You will cut calories and fat, and hardly notice a difference.
Cut fat by substituting applesauce or a fruit puree for up to 1/3 of the butter or margarine called for in the recipe.
To add extra nutrients to your cookies, replace 2 tablespoons of the flour with old fashioned rolled oats or raw wheat germ. |
