Biscuit Mushroom Bake recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
1 lb. sliced, fresh mushrooms
2 Tb. butter
3 Tb. flour
1 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. milk 1 Tb. lemon juice
1 ts. onion powder
1 ts. garlic powder
1/4 ts. salt
1/4 ts. pepper
1/4 ts. paprika
1 tube (12 oz.) refrigerated biscuits |

METHOD |
In a large skillet, saute mushrooms in butter.
Stir in flour until blended.
Gradually add broth and milk.
Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in lemon juice and spices.
Pour into a greased 11 x 7 baking dish.
Arrange biscuits over the top.
Bake uncovered at 375* for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Makes 5 servings. |
