Black and White Pretzel Cookies recipe


INGREDIENTS

2 c. flour
5 Tb. cocoa
1/2 ts. baking powder
1/4 ts. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine, unsalted
1/4 c. cream cheese
1 egg
1 Tb. milk
1/2 ts. vanilla
2 oz. white chocolate, melted


METHOD

In a small bowl, combine first four ingredients.
Using a food processor, combine sugar, margarine and cream cheese.
Process until smooth.
Add egg, milk and vanilla.
Process until blended.
Add flour mixture and process until dough forms.
Shape dough into a disk.
Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350*.
Spray 2 baking sheets.
Divide dough in half.
Divide each half into 12 equal pieces.
Roll each piece into 1/2 inch thick log.
Fold each end over to create pretzel shape.
Press ends to gently seal.
Place cookies 1-1/2 inches apart on baking sheets.
Bake cookies in batches until browned, about 15 minutes.
Drizzle white chocolate over cookies.
Let stand until set.
