Cannelloni recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
1 lb. beef, lean ground
2 onions, small and finely chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
2 small pkg. spinach, frozen, chopped and drained
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. bread crumbs
2/3 c. mozzarella cheese, grated
1/2 ts. salt
1/2 ts. oregano
1 box cannelloni shells
2 lg. cans spaghetti sauce
2 lg. cans water
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated |

METHOD |
Brown meat with onion and garlic.
Remove from heat.
Drain fat and add remaining ingredients except spaghetti sauce, water and Parmesan cheese.
In a separate bowl, combine spaghetti sauce and water.
Place some sauce on bottom of 13 x 9 glass pan.
Fill cannelloni shells with meat mixture.
Place in single layer in glass pan.
Spoon rest of sauce over shells.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake, covered at 350* for 45-60 minutes until shells are cooked.
Note: Serve this recipe with ceaser salad and garlic toast.
