Chicken Spaghetti Bake recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
1 chicken, 3 pounds, cut up, or use equivalent chicken parts
2 Tb. vegetable oil
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, pressed
1-1/2 c. water
1 can tomato sauce (15 ounces)
1 can mushrooms
1 ts. oregano, dried
1 ts. salt
1/4 ts. hot pepper sauce, or more to taste
4 oz. broken spaghetti
Parmesan cheese

METHOD |
In Dutch oven brown chicken in vegetable oil.
Add onion and garlic and sauté until onion is tender.
Stir in water, tomato sauce, drained mushrooms, oregano, salt, and hot pepper sauce.
Cover and bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
Stir in spaghetti and bake 30 minutes longer, or until chicken and spaghetti are tender, stirring occasionally.
Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
