Choclate Indulgence Candy recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
16 oz. chocolate chips
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. icing sugar
1 Tb. flour, all purpose
4 egg yolks
1 1/2 ts. vanilla
4 egg whites, room temperature
1 c. sour cream |

METHOD |
In large sauce pan, melt chocolate and butter, then gradually add sugar and flour, stirring constantly with a wire whisk.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into chocolate.
Pour all BUT 1 cup of mix into buttered 8 x 8 pan.
Add sour cream to reserved batter and spread evenly over top of mixture in the pan.
Bake at 375* for 25 minutes.
The center will look not done or set.
Cool completely, cover and refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
Cut into small squares with hot knife.
Individual pieces can be wrapped and frozen. |
