Cinnamon Custard recipe


INGREDIENTS

2-1/2 c. milk
1 ts. cinnamon, fresh ground if you can
1 ts. vanilla
3 eggs
1/4 c. honey
dash salt


METHOD

Preheat oven to 375*.
Place four 6 oz. ramekins in a baking dish.
In a sauce pan, heat milk with cinnamon and vanilla.
In a bowl, with eggs, honey and salt.
While whisking, add the milk mixture to the eggs, a little at a time, until the entire mixture is blended.
Strain.
Pour custard into the ramekins.
Place baking dish on open oven door.
Pour boiling water into baking dish, so that it comes halfway up sides of ramekins.
Bake custard 30-40 minutes, until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serves 6.
