Creamy Blueberry Gelatin Salad recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
2 pkg.(3 oz. each) grape gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 can blueberry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple, unsweetened and undrained
Topping:
1 pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
1 ts. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (your favorite) |

METHOD |
In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Cool for 10 minutes.
Sir in pie filling and pineapple until blended.
Transfer to a 13 x 9 pan.
Cover and refrigerate until partially set, about 1 hour.
For the topping, in a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream sugar and vanilla.
Carefully spread over gelatin; sprinkle with nuts.
Cover and refrigerate until firm.
Makes 12-15 servings. |
