Crisp Breaded Chicken Drumsticks recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
3 Tb. butter
3 Tb. flour
1-1/2 c. milk
1 Tb. Dijon mustard
1 Tb. Worcestershire sauce
1 ts. garlic powder
1 ts. salt
1/2 ts. pepper
1 c. cornflake crumbs
1 c. breadcrumbs
2 Tb. parsley, fresh and chopped
12 chicken drumsticks
1 Tb. oil |

METHOD |
In a medium sauce pan, melt butter.
Add flour.
Cook for a few minutes but do not brown.
Whisk in milk; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and cook gently for 2 minutes.
Beat in mustard, Worcestershire sauce and spices.
Remove from heat and cool.
Preheat oven to 350*.
In a flat dish, combine crumbs and parsley.
Pat chicken dry.
Roll in seasoned sauce.
Coat chicken in crumbs.
Line baking sheet with foil and brush with oil.
Arrange chicken in a single layer.
Bake for 45 minutes or until juices run clear.
