Ham Flan recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
1 9 inch pie shell, unbaked
2 Tb. butter
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
1 c. ham, cubed
1-1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
2 eggs, beaten
1-1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. flour, all purpose
1/2 ts. salt and pepper
tomato slices
parsley |

METHOD |
Preheat oven to 375*.
In a fry pan, melt butter and saute onions and mushrooms until tender.
Sprinkle ham, cheese, onions and mushrooms in bottom of pie shell.
In a bowl, combine eggs and milk.
Gradually blend into a mixture of flour, salt and pepper.
Pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until knife comes clean.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Garnish with tomatoes and parsley.
Serve hot or cold.
