Herbed Chicken Loaf recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
1 lb. chicken, ground
1/3 c. breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 ts. basil, dried
1 ts. oregano, dried
1/2 ts. salt
1/4 ts. pepper
1/4 c. ketchup
2 ts. Worcestershire sauce

METHOD |
Preheat Oven to 425*.
Mix together ground chicken, bread crumbs, egg, herbs, salt and pepper.
On a greased baking sheet, shape mixture into a large patty, approximately 6-7 inches across and 1.5 inches thick.
Combine ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and spread over the patty.
Bake for 35 - 45 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the pie reads 175*.
Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Cut into four wedges and serve with garlic mashed potatoes and salad.
Makes 4 servings. |
