Homemade Tomato Sauce recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
2 cans plum tomatoes (28 oz.)
8 sprigs parsley
4 basil leaves
4 garlic cloves
1 onion, halved
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
1 Tb. oregano, dried
1 ts. salt

METHOD |
Puree tomatoes in a blender until smooth and pour into saucepan.
Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover partially, and simmer for about 2 hours or until thickened.
Makes 4 servings. |
