Hungarian Goulash with Noodles recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
1 lb. beef, cubed
2 med. onions, chopped
1/4 ts. dry mustard
1 1/4 ts. paprika
2 Tb. brown sugar
1-1/4 ts. salt
3 Tb. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 ts. vinegar
6 Tb. ketchup
1 1/2 c. water
3 Tb. flour
1 pkg. noodles (6 oz.)

METHOD |
Brown meat and add the onions.
Combine next 4 ingredients.
Combine next 3 ingredients and add to mustard mixture.
Add all this to meat, including 1 cup water.
Stir and cover.
Cook over low heat for 2 1/2 hours.
Blend flour with 1/2 cup water and add to meat mixture; stir until thickened.
Server over hot noodles.
Egg noodles are best.
Makes 8 servings. |
