Linguine with Red Clam Sauce recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
**This recipe serves 6-8 people**
1/3 c. oil
4 garlic cloves, chopped slightly
10 oz. can baby clams**save liquid**
28 oz. can tomatoes
1/4 ts. salt
1/4 ts. pepper
16 oz. Linguine (equals 8-9 cups cooked)
1/3 c. parsley, chopped |

METHOD |
Heat oil in large saucepan.
Add garlic and cook until golden brown.
Add broth from clams.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove garlic.
Add clams and simmer another 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and garlic.
Simmer sauce for 30-35 minutes.
Prepare pasta according to directions.
Arrange pasta on serving platter.
Pour sauce over pasta and sprinkle with parsley. |
