Marinara Sauce recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
2 Tb. vegetable oil
1 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1-1/2 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
2 ts. dried parsley
1 ts. dried basil
1 ts dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste

METHOD |
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
Stir in onion, garlic and celery and cook until soft.
Pour in tomatoes and tomato paste, stir, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in parsley, basil, oregano, salt and pepper; simmer 15 minutes, uncovered.
Serve. |
