Mozzarella Spaghetti Skillet recipe


INGREDIENTS

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 c. mushrooms, sliced
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 can tomatoes, drained (large can)(save juice)
1 c. water
1-1/2 c. spaghetti, broken
1-1/2 ts. Italian seasoning
1 ts. garlic powder
1-1/2 ts. salt
2 c. mozzarella cheese, grated


METHOD

In an electric skillet, combine beef, mushrooms, onions and green peppers.
Cook on medium heat until beef is browned and vegetables are tender.
Drain grease.
Cut up tomatoes and add them and the juice to skillet.
Stir in water, spaghetti and seasonings.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover, simmering for 15-20 minutes, or until pasta is cooked; stir occasionally.
Add cheese and let melt.
Makes 4-6 servings.
