Mushroom Cheese Sauce recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
3 Tb. butter
3 Tb. flour
1 ts. chicken bouillon granules
1 c. water
1/3 c. half and half
1 can mushrooms, sliced and drained
1 Tb. chives, minced

METHOD |
In a sauce pan, melt butter. Stir in flour and bouillon.
Gradually stir in water and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Cook and stir for 2 minutes until thickened.
Reduce heat and stir in cheese until melted.
Stir in the cream, mushrooms and chives.
Tip: Fry mushrooms in a little butter to brown them up before adding to the sauce. |
