Mushroom Sauce recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
1 onion, small and minced
1/2 to 3/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
2 Tb. butter
2 Tb. flour
1/2 c. consumme
1/2 c. milk
1/2 ts. salt
1/4 ts. pepper
1/8 ts. lemon juice |

METHOD |
In a fry pan, brown onion and mushrooms in butter.
Blend in flour.
Stir in consumme slowly.
Add milk, slat and pepper.
simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice and remove from heat.
Note: This sauce is especially good for steak. |
