My Aunt Marions Chocolate Cream Cheese Cake recipe |
INGREDIENTS |
Base:
1 c. ground pecans
1/2 c. butter, room temp.
1 c. flour
Filling:
2 boxes chocolate pudding, instant (4 oz.)(butterscotch or lemon)
3-1/2 c. milk
1 tub frozen dessert topping
1 small carton of whipping cream, whipped
1 cream cheese (8 oz.)
1 c. icing sugar

METHOD |
Base: Crumb together and press into 13 x 9 pan.
Bake at 300* for 15 minutes. Cool.
Filling: Cream the cheese and icing together.
Add a little over half of the Cool Whip.
Spread over cooled crust.
Mix the two puddings with milk.
Pour over cheese mixture and let cool in fridge until set.
Blend remaining Cool Whip with whipping cream and spread over pudding mix. Decorate.
Note: This is very light and wonderful tasting! |
