Oven Baked Pierogis recipe
2 ts. butter
14 pierogies, frozen
onion flakes, dried
parsley flakes, dried
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated (more if desired)
In a 10 inch glass pie plate, melt butter in a 350* oven.
While butter is melting, in a medium sauce pan, boil pierogies briefly, just until they float to the top, 3-4 minutes.
Remove and drain.
Remove pie plate from oven, and ladle pierogies into pie plate.
Spiral 11 around the outside with 3 in the middle.
Sprinkle with spices, then cheese.
Return to oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Note: A simple and quick recipe which my son and his friends ask for often.
